First attempt at a photo manipulation

My chosen image is a screenshot of Carole Baskin crying during her episode of dancing with the stars. She became famous because of appearance on the Netflix documentary 'Tiger King'. She became the villain in many people's eyes because of the show, therefore I felt that it would be a bit relevant to meme her, while also trying some pure image manipulation.

My given image is an illustration of Vladimir Putin, president of Russia, with the caption FEAR. I recognised the image straight away from Barack Obama's campaign poster, with the slogan HOPE. Before showing the original, I wanted to explore the remix image first.

Looking on google images, searching Putin Fear poster, I found several copies of the remixed image plastered on various things such as coffee mugs, smartphone cases, t-shirts, and banners. I found it interesting that propaganda like posters were being sold on red-bubble as merchandise and knick knacks.

From there on I searched for the original image of Putin, and found this similar image. At first I thought this was the image, however after closer inspection, I realised Putin has the same facial expressions in every photo.

Always creating this emotionless pouting face. In some way, he is remix himself in every photo. He is recreating older pictures, just changing the composition and his surrounding, the face stays the same.
